Autumn fest 2024, Woonsocket’s signature celebration, took place from October 12th to 14th at World War II Veterans Memorial Park. This three-day event brought together thousands of residents and visitors, creating a weekend filled with community pride, entertainment, and tradition.
Shahbaz Raja, candidate for Woonsocket City Council, was proud to be part of the festivities. Engaging with community members throughout the weekend, Shahbaz shared his vision for tackling local challenges such as affordable housing, enhancing business opportunities, and providing better care for seniors. He connected with attendees during the Autumn fest Parade, one of the event’s highlights, which showcased Woonsocket’s diversity and spirit of unity.
From carnival rides and games to live music, artisan vendors, and delicious local food, Autumn fest once again proved to be a cornerstone of Woonsocket’s cultural fabric. The festival offered a space for family fun and meaningful conversation about the future of our city.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to engage, share their thoughts, and support Shahbaz Raja’s campaign. Together, we continue to strengthen our community and work toward a brighter future for Woonsocket.
